Presented by Grogan’s Mill Village Association. The Woodlands Farmer’s Market at Grogan’s Mill was established in 2008 as “The Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market,” a weekly community event sponsored by the Grogan’s Mill Village Association. If you drive to the market, you will find the village center has plenty of parking. Memorial Day in The Woodlands

Celebrate the official start to summer at the annual Memorial Day event in The Woodlands! The Sunday event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving the United States. The festival features live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a dazzling fireworks display* choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please be advised the Festival beverage booth will be cashless. Guests may pay with cash but will need to have exact change. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. A care package drop-off booth will be available onsite to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops. View list of recommended items.

*Our Community Salutes helps communities recognize, honor and support local high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U.S. Armed Services after graduation. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness these individuals get sworn in as their military journey begins. **Time approximate and weather permitting.

Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival

When: May 7, 2022

What would May in the Gulf Coast be without a crawfish festival? Tomball’s version includes plenty of live music, delicious food, and fun paired with special events such as eating contests and crawfish racing. Admission to this two-day event is free.

Memorial Day Chili Cook-Off

When: May 28, 2022
Time: All Day
Where: 201 South Elm Street, Tomball, TX 77375

Chili cooks from all over southeast Texas converge on Tomball for this Chili Appreciation Society International-sanctioned cook-off. Winners of the competition earn points toward competing in the international cook-off in Terlingua later in the year, so the stakes are as high as they can get. Along with the food, the event includes live music, a kid’s zone, and more.

Tomball Honky Tonk Music Festival

If you’re after an afternoon of two-steppin, toe-tappin fun, don’t miss this annual country music festival in Tomball. Top performers playing fiddles and steel guitars and activities for the whole family make up this one-day event held at the historic Tomball Depot on Memorial Day Weekend.
