MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Scott Baker, a longtime party activist, U.S. Air Force veteran, and dedicated community leader, today announced his candidacy for County Chair of the Republican Party of Montgomery County, pledging to renew the party’s commitment to transparency, grassroots engagement, and giving power back to everyday voters.
“For too long, insiders have tried to decide who votes, and which candidates succeed,” Baker said. “I’m running because I believe ‘We the People’ — not political insiders — should choose our leaders. It’s time we return the party to the voters.”
