Spinning & Weaving Demonstration

Spinning and weaving are two steps in the production of textiles. Spinning is the process of making thread out of raw fibers. Weaving is the process of taking threads and making them into cloth.

Beginner & Intermediate Spanish Classes

Sign up now for free Spanish classes! Instructor Beth Williamson will be teaching two levels of Spanish on Wednesdays in the Huntsville Public Library’s Community Room. Beginners Class will meet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Intermediate Class from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The 16-week program begins January 16, 2019 and all materials are provided. Register now to reserve your spot – only 35 students maximum for each class.

Open year-round on the Friday through Sunday before the third Monday of each month. Trade Days is set in Livingston’s scenic Pedigo Park. Shoppers browse through two covered pavilions and open-air lots that are host to a wide variety of food, arts and crafts, collectibles and antique vendors. This great environment welcomes families, day-trippers and outdoor enthusiasts who come to enjoy a few hours at the park. Their goal is to bring a treasure or two home.
