When Hurricane Harvey crashed into the Texas coast on August 25, 2017, Houston and surrounding areas were inundated with an unprecedented amount of rain – more than 40 inches in some areas.
Sections of the Humble ISD community were covered in water. Many families had to be evacuated. Homes and businesses were abandoned. The devastation was severe.
