This past year was an unforgettable year for the greater Houston area. It began with the LI Super Bowl, when the New England Patriots won in overtime with a 25- point come back. This historic come back was the largest in Super Bowl history and first to be determined in overtime. August brought us Harvey, which, as we know in the Humble/Kingwood area, made significant changes to our businesses and home market prices. We ended the year with an Astros victory! The first World Series championship in Houston’s history. What a year! Below are interesting numbers from the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) 2017 results which demonstrates the Houston areas resilience and heart of champion.
To date, there are two potential impacts in 2018 that could affect our future home sales: the Humbel ISD bond in May, 2018 and the (possible) announcement of Amazon moving to Generation Park. I will keep you up to date with future details on both of these important events.
