Massage Envy

Montgomery County’s award-winning provider of therapeutic massages and spa facial treatments continues to receive accolades as thebest in the business. The Lone Star College Small Business Development Center recently awarded Massage Envy Teas Crossing and Tomball as the “Small Business of the Year” on the basis of leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, business growth and contributions to the community. But the owners of Massage Envy haven’t rested on their success, as 2017 has been a year of dramatic expansion of Massage Envy’s is expanding their roster of professional and therapeutic services to help clients feel better, look better and have a greater range of motion.

Throughout history, massage has been recognized as a simple, yet effective, way of dealing with chronic pain, arthritis, muscular disorders and the stress of everyday life. Massage benefits everyone ? from athletes to everyday people ? because the basic massage can be customized to the individual’s particular situation.

“In 2017 we have introduced new Advanced Skin Care services such as our exclusive Microderm Infusion™ which uses hydration technology to go beyond traditional microdermabrasion treatments and a new Chemical Peel from PCA Skin®,We offer a wide range of treatments and procedures that can be tailored to treat specific problem areas or provide a general, whole body experience,” said Mack Miller, owner-operator with wife Michelle of Massage Envy in Conroe. “Our expanded facial and skincare services are extremely popular and we have recently launchedare introducing a new method of professionally assisted Total Body Stretch using our proprietary Streto Method stretching to improve mobility and range of motion issues our clients face on a daily basis.”

While therapeutic massage is what draws many clients to Massage Envy initially, a growing number of people have discovered the facility offers an impressive array of other total body care collateral services that help specific problems or concerns.

“Facials and skin care services appeal to both men and women,” said Michelle. “Advanced techniques and technology have come a long way in repairing, restoring and rejuvenating the skin to look and feel more youthful and supple.”

Massage Envy offers a variety ofother new spa services including a special men’s facial, an extended 90-minute facial session, a new seaweed facial mask, an anti-aging eye treatment and new exfoliating skin treatments. The new minimally invasive Mmicroderm Infusionabrasion treatments use gentle abrasive instruments to gently “sand” one’s skin ? removeing the thicker, uneven outer layer to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage and stretch marks and then apply a customizable, infusion serum based on skin typeand need. The new Chemical peels that resurface and rejuvenate the skin for a more youthful, glowing appearance and can also help reduce skin inflammation, acne marks and hyperpigmentation are also available.

And Massage Envy members and guests can target their specific skin concerns at a fraction of the cost of a traditional day spa. Whether addressing skin damage caused by sun exposure, smog, stress, aging, blemishes, acne, dryness or other irritation, Murad® Healthy Skin Facials have been exclusively designed to improve the look and feel of their skin, at a price they can afford every month.

The newest option is Massage Envy’s exclusive, professionally-assisted Total Body Stretch using the proprietary Streto Method ? a service that delivers a customizable stretch for everyday performance. Whether you’re a weekend warrior, an active senior or an office athlete, the Streto Method can help you reach farther than before, feel healthier than ever and do more of what you love.

“Combining assisted stretching with a therapeutic massage is a great way to improve overall mobility and increase your range of motion,” said Mack. “It’s a great way to target specific problem areas or to just feel better all over.”

Mack and Michelle have proven successful at developing Massage Envy into a recognized leader in the industry in their two locations in Conroe and Tomball. The Millers are one of only eight franchise owners out of more than 500 Massage Envy owner-operators to earn merit based national awards the last three years in a row. They plan to open a new location early next year in Montgomery in the new Kroger shopping plaza.

“We take a lot of pride in what we do as a team,” said Mack. “To be recognized in the top one percent in the nation for our entire brand is very rewarding. We take great pride in these awards being tied to the feedback scores and return visits from our customers. Honesty, integrity, teamwork and excellence are important to us, and our staff reflects that.”

After a trial visit, many Massage Envy clients become regulars and join the company’s unique monthly membership program that includes the treatment of their choice each month – a massage or facial, for example. Membership offers great value with an overall savings of almost 50 percent off of non-member rates.

“If a member is unable to use their treatment one month, it rolls over and they can have two treatments the next month,” explained Michelle. “As long as your membership is active, you don’t lose the treatment because your schedule was too busy to make an appointment.”

The membership plan also offers special discount incentives to add family members or to gift one member service per month to a friend for a nominal fee. Membership provides significant discounts on virtually every program and service at Massage Envy – in Conroe or any of the growing number of outlets in Houston, Dallas or any location across the country ? including the Millers’ new location in Tomball.

“There is a lot of stress in the world these days,” said Mack. “Sometimes it’s important to take the weight off your shoulders – just for an hour or two. Massage Envy is the place to do it.”
