Woodforest National Bank® will host the 13 th Annual Woodforest Bank Charity Run at Heritage Park in downtown Conroe. This year’s race will include a 10K run/walk sponsored by Insperity Invitational and a 5K run/walk sponsored by Convergint. Plus, there will be the popular “Barkley Shoe Dash” for kids ages 5-7 and 8-12. Participants start the race with one shoe, dash 50 yards to retrieve and put on their shoe from a pile of competing runners’ shoes, then dash back 50 yards to the finish line.
After the races, the participants, spectators, and volunteers will enjoy a family-friendly Post Race Party with music, food and beverages, fun jumps, snow cones, and an awards ceremony. Net proceeds benefit Woodforest Charitable Foundation.
