Huntsville Farmers Market

Come on out to the Huntsville Farmers Market every Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm. We are located in the parking lot of McKenzie’s Barbeque (Huntsville, Texas)! We have a lot of different items for you to enjoy!

City of Huntsville 4th of July Family Celebration

WHERE: Kate Barr Ross Park, 486 State Hwy 75 North
WHEN: July 4
TIME: 4:00 – 9:45 PM

Come enjoy children’s activities and food vendors from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, then find a great space in the park to enjoy a wonderful Fireworks display starting at 9:15 PM. Admission to the park is free. Food prices from the vendors will vary. Personal coolers are quite welcome; but no glass containers, please! Also, alcohol is not permitted in the park. No personal fireworks are allowed in the park

Red White and Bluegill Family Fishing Event

WHERE: Huntsville State Park (565 Park Road 40 West, Huntsville, TX 77340)
WHEN: July 6
TIME: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Come out to Huntsville State Park and learn to fish. Stations setup to learn how to:

(1) Tie a few Fishing Knots

(2) Learn how to cast

(3) Learn a little bit about basic tackle

(4) Texas Fishing Rules & Regulations

(5) GO FISHING!!!

We will have everything you need including poles and bait. There will be a small entrence fee to get into the State Park. REMEMBER!!!! No Fishing Licenses are needed in Texas State Parks that have areas to fish.

WHAT TO BRING: Water, hat, bug and sun spray, snacks are always nice to have, and something to wipe your hands.

The Brown Sugar Band

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a freedom festiva and paradel to celebrate the Fourth of July.  There will also be a kids zone and vendors..

Bentwater Fireworks Display

Fireworks begin at dusk. Boaters be patient and safe at night. There will be hundreds of boats viewing this fireworks show.

Walden Fireworks Display

This lakeside community has a great fireworks show over Lake Conroe. It can be seen all over the Lake Conroe area. This will take place on the night of the 4th.

Walter Suhr and Mango Punch Concert

WHERE: Heritage Place, 500 Metcalf St., Conroe
WHEN: ​​July 6
TIME: 7:00 PM

Conroe’s concert series will feature Walter Suhr and Mango Punch. The event will include on-site food trucks, and outside food and drinks will be allowed. Glass containers are prohibited.

Sports Cards and Collectibles Show

WHERE: Hyatt Regency Conroe (1001 Grand Central Parkway, Conroe)

A sports cards show will be coming to Conroe for attendees to buy, sell and trade from over 130 tables of sports cards, Pokemon cards, memorabilia, toys, Funko pops and comics. The event will also have giveaways and raffles.

The City of Magnolia’s annual fireworks display is set for July 5th at Unity Park. The event kicks off at 5:00 PM, with the fireworks show starting at 9:00 PM.

SOUTH COUNTY FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

The South Montgomery County Fourth of July Committee once again invites the community to celebrate America’s birthday with a festive parade on Thursday, July 4 at 9:00 a.m. 

The annual patriotic event is celebrating its 48th year in 2024 with the theme “Saluting the Past. Celebrating the Future.” The parade will welcome thousands of spectators who line the streets of Town Center along a 1.3-mile parade route. Participants typically include local dignitaries, local marching bands, street performers, fire engines, horses, and floats.

STAR-SPANGLED CELEBRATION

Pine Market in Woodforest will be decked out in red, white and blue for a star-spangled celebration of America, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at 885 Pine Market Avenue in Montgomery. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center relies on around 1,000 blood donations each day to meet the needs of our extended communities. They are the primary provider of blood to more than 170 hospitals and healthcare facilities in our area.
