Nacogdoches Has a Full Late October: Harvest Festival, Homecoming and a Downtown Crawl
Millard's Crossing hosts its Pioneer Harvest Festival Oct. 24, the same day as SFA's homecoming parade. Here is what is left on the Nacogdoches calendar.
The second half of October is busy in Nacogdoches. A pioneer harvest festival, Stephen F. Austin State University's homecoming and several downtown evenings all land in the next two weeks. Here is what is planned, based on the Millard's Crossing event page and the Visit Nacogdoches October calendar.
Pioneer Harvest Festival
Millard's Crossing Historic Village, 6020 North St., holds its Pioneer Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and veterans, and $8 for children ages 3 to 12. The visitor bureau's calendar lists the festival as "Sat, Oct. 23rd," but the village's official event page gives the date as Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, and that is the date we are using. The village can be reached at 936-564-6631.
A village of old homes and buildings, with a harvest to celebrate, is a fine place to show children how families lived and worked the land, and gave thanks for it.
