62nd Austin Trail of Lights

Austin's holiday light walk returns to Zilker Park for its 62nd year. The trail has more than 2 million lights, 96 trees and over 70 displays, plus food, drinks and holiday activities. It is a family outing that works for all ages. When: Nightly Dec. 10 through Dec. 23, 7 to 10 p.m. ZIP Fast Pass and Platinum ticket holders can enter starting at 6 p.m. Where: Zilker Park, 2100 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704. Cost: General admission is free on Dec. 10, 11 and 13 through 17. On Dec. 12 and Dec. 18 through 23, general admission is $8 for ages 12 and up. Kids 11 and under are always free. ZIP Fast Passes run about $20 to $25, Platinum passes are $95, and on-site parking is $25 to $35. A $10 shuttle runs from the Toney Burger Center on Dec. 12 and Dec. 18 through 23.
