Christmas Candlelight Tour at the John Jay French Museum

The Beaumont Heritage Society opens the 1845 John Jay French home for candlelit tours with the house decorated for Christmas. In Heritage Hall, kids can write a letter to Saint Nick and families can shop from local vendors. There will be wassail and cookies, and the Community Band of Southeast Texas will play Christmas music. Proceeds go to the care and upkeep of the John Jay French Museum. When: Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Where: John Jay French Historic House Museum, 3025 French Road, Beaumont, TX 77706. Cost: $5 for ages 4 and up. Children 3 and under free.
