Dickens on Main 2026

Boerne's Dickens on Main turns downtown's Hill Country Mile into a vintage Christmas celebration over Thanksgiving weekend. The event started in 2000. Villages along Main Street have Christmas markets and food, live music and carolers, ice carving shows, kids' crafts and inflatables, snow and ice slides, visits with Santa, and the Last Chance Forever Birds of Prey show. Local groups perform scenes from The Nutcracker and Boerne Community Theatre shows. The official tree lighting is Friday at Main Plaza. When: Friday, Nov. 27, and Saturday, Nov. 28, noon to 9 p.m. both days. The tree lighting ceremony is Friday at 6 p.m. Streets close at 4 p.m. each day. Where: Main Plaza (North Pole Village), 100 N. Main St, Boerne, TX 78006, and along Main Street, including Dickens Village at 157 S. Main and South Pole Village at 437 S. Main. Parking is first come, first served on nearby streets and lots. Cost: The organizer pages do not list an admission fee. Some activities, such as the trackless train, carry a fee.
