Heritage Syrup Festival 2026

The Heritage Syrup Festival celebrates East Texas ribbon cane syrup making. Experienced syrup makers run the Depot Museum's antique mule-powered equipment, while folk artists demonstrate lace making, rope making, basket making, blacksmithing, wood carving and quilting. Downtown Heritage Square adds about 150 arts and crafts booths, East Texas food, music, cloggers and square dancers, an antique car show, a melodrama at the Opera House, a petting zoo and a children's area. It is a family day for all ages.
