2026 McAllen Holiday Parade

McAllen's big holiday parade bills itself as the largest helium balloon parade in Texas. Expect giant character balloons, illuminated floats, marching bands, dance teams, celebrity hosts and fireworks along a 1.5-mile stadium and street route. It is for families and all ages. When: Saturday, Dec. 5. Stadium gates open at 3:30 p.m., ticketed seating opens at 5:30 p.m., and the parade starts at 6 p.m. The end time is not posted. Where: McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2001 N Bicentennial Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501. The route begins on Bicentennial Blvd. Free parking and a free Polar Express shuttle run from noon to midnight. Cost: Ticketed seating, including in-stadium reserved seats and Vuelta Zone and Sky Box street seating; prices are on the parade's ticket page. Children under 3 are free; ages 3 and up need a ticket in ticketed sections. Accessible seating is sold at the McAllen Performing Arts Center box office.
