Starbright Village Tree Lighting 2026

The City of Odessa lights the Christmas tree that opens the 27th annual Starbright Village at McKinney Park. Starbright Village is Odessa's big Christmas lights display, with walk-through and drive-through scenes that usually run from early December into the new year. A local news report set the 2026 tree lighting for Dec. 3; the city's online calendar still showed last year's hours, so the 6 to 8 p.m. window used here is based on the 2025 ceremony and should be checked before you go. When: Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026. The start time for 2026 was not posted on the city calendar we found. Last year's ceremony ran 6 to 8 p.m., so that window is used here as an estimate. Where: McKinney Park, 625 W. Pool Road, Odessa, TX 79761. Cost: Free. More info: https://discoverodessa.org/visit-starbright-village-in-odessa-tx/ or Odessa Parks and Recreation. Organizer: City of Odessa Parks and Recreation, with First Basin Credit Union as a past presenting partner.
