Willis and The Woodlands Lead Early Voting Sites

The Woodlands early voting site had recorded 14,421 in-person ballots through Sunday, the largest total among county locations. The North Montgomery County Community Center in Willis followed closely with 14,196.

Other heavily used locations included Montgomery with 10,716 ballots, the Magnolia Event Center with 10,410, East Montgomery County with 9,141, and Conroe with 9,121.

Those figures show where ballots were cast, not necessarily where voters live. During early voting, any qualified Montgomery County voter may vote at any county early-voting location.

Saturday produced the week's largest in-person turnout so far, with 16,432 voters casting ballots countywide. Another 9,206 voted in person Sunday during the shorter six-hour voting period.

The Willis early-voting location is the North Montgomery County Community Center at 600 Gerald Street. The main Conroe location is the Central Library at 104 Interstate 45 North. Locations are also available in Montgomery, Magnolia, The Woodlands, Spring, New Caney, and Splendora.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Unlike early voting, Election Day voters must vote in the precinct where they are registered.

Voters can verify their registration, view a sample ballot, and check polling information through the Montgomery County Elections website.

The totals remain unofficial and will change as additional in-person and mail ballots are reported. Early turnout figures show how many people have voted, not which candidates or measures they supported.
