North Shore Republican Women Monthly Luncheon Meeting

When: Wednesday, March 2, 2022
Time: Sign-in begins 10:30 a.m., Meeting at 11:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:15 a.m., Program Noon until 1:00 p.m.
Where: Bentwater Country Club, 800 Bentwater Dr., Montgomery, TX 

The General Membership Meeting of North Shore Republican Women will feature a Program by Dr. Richard A. Johnson III, Ed.D., Director of the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Booker T. Washington Initiative, speaking on Career and Technology Education, Critical Race Theory, and Parent Empowerment. Montgomery County Welcoming Neighbors Club March Luncheon

When March 17, 2022
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Where: Herrera’s Mexican Restaurant

Montgomery County Welcoming Neighbor Club (social club 501c7) monthly luncheon will be held at the Herrera’s Mexican Restaurant on March 17, 2022. Social hour begins at 10:00 followed by a short business meeting and lunch. Afterwards, the program will be BINGO.  Bring a five-dollar gift for a prize exchange. The Woodlands Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market

When: Saturdays* March 5, 12, 19 & 26, 2022

Where: 2230 Buckthorne Place, The Woodlands, TX 77380 (Buckthorne Place & Grogan’s Mill Road at Grogan’s Mill Village Center)

Presented by Grogan’s Mill Village Association. The Woodlands Farmer’s Market at Grogan’s Mill was established in 2008 as “The Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market,” a weekly community event sponsored by the Grogan’s Mill Village Association. If you drive to the market, you will find the village center has plenty of parking. If you choose to walk or ride your bike, it is located just off of the Mill Bend Trail with direct access under Grogan’s Mill Rd. For more information call 281-210-3887. *(Except for some holidays)

Father/Son Challenge

When: March 12, 2022
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Where: The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park,
6464 Creekside Forest Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77389

Fee: $50 Resident pair; $60 Non-Resident pair; $15 per additional sibling. Recommended for ages 5 years and older. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. To register call the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park at 281-516-7348. Work as a team to complete various challenges located around the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park campus! Challenges may include kayaking, archery, puzzles, relay races, and much more! T-Shirts provided for all participants. Prizes awarded to top finishers.

Soggy Doggy Swim Day

When: March 19, 2022
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Where: Creekwood Park, 3383 S. Panther Creek Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381 

Calling all dog lovers! Bring your dog for a splash in the pond, doggie activities, a trick competition and fetching game! All pets must be on a leash while not swimming, and must be up to date on shots. Pre-registration required. For more information call 281-210-3889.

15th Annual Creekwood Fishing Derby/Water Safety

When: March 26, 2022
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Where: Creekwood Park, 3383 S. Panther Creek Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381
Cost: Free for all ages

Bring your fishing poles and we’ll provide the bait! T-shirts are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Prizes will be awarded for longest, heaviest and smallest fish caught. Sponsored by The Woodlands Professional Firefighters Association. For more information call 281-516-7348.
