Rocky Raccoon got so big a few years ago we ended up splitting the 50 mile and 50km distances onto the following weekend. We also have a half marathon now! So, now Rocky 50 is a stand alone event. If you want to run your first ultra, or you want to run a really fast and scenic trail race, this is your course. Rolling trails, lots of exposed tree roots, beautiful pine trees with their needles nestled under your feet, cool bridges, a gorgeous east Texas lake, wildlife, and a wonderful set of aid stations and volunteers.Â

In our community, there are several low-income senior living apartment complexes where seniors often lack basic necessities due to their fixed income. To address this, we are organizing the Share the Love Donation Drive for Valentine’s Day. The main goal is to spread love and support to seniors in need. The drive aims to collect donations before Valentine’s Day to benefit residents at Parkview Place Senior Apartments and distribute substantial blessing boxes to other senior-living areas in the community.Â
Let’s come together to share blessings and make a meaningful impact to Walker County Senior Citizens who are in need.
