A new threat has just landed on Earth, and it landed right in the heart of Conroe, Texas! Run! Don’t walk to see The Rocky Horror Show at The Owen Theatre in historic Downtown Conroe. The Rocky Horror Show plays July 13, 19, 20 at 10:00 pm, July 18 at 7:30 pm, and July 14 and 21 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $30 with the option to purchase a “play along kit” for $10 more if you buy online, or $15 more if you buy at the door. The Rocky Horror Show is known for its audience interaction so you do not want to miss becoming a part of this show! The production is directed by Adam Isbell, who recently just finished a jaw-dropping run of Into the Woods on the very same stage! He has acquired an amazing team with Assistant Directors Shananda Poulos and Madison Mapes-Clevenger, Music Director Veronica Amandola, Choreographer Lyndsay Craven, Dance Captain Sunnie Curda and Stage Manager Garrett Harvey. Props Master is Jennifer Clevenger, Costume Designer is Mandy Hall and the set designers are the incomparable Jamie & Michael Glass. This show is known for its high camp and humor as we follow newly engaged couple Brad and Janet (Travis Cook and Danielle Stringfellow) after their car breaks down near Dr. Frank-n-Furter’s (Colton Land) castle. Dr. Frank-n-Furter has been working with his assistants, Riff Raff (Anthony Barrios), Magenta (Sunnie Curda), and Columbia (Lauren Mulacek) to make a new man for the doctor to play with, Rocky (Ethan Achee). Hilarity and mystery ensue as we follow the misadventures of Brad and Janet as they meet all the “creatures of the night” inside the “Frankenstein Place” – including Eddie (Zoe Bullard) and Dr. Scott (Ziggy Bernard). Mark Doreza leads the audience through the story narrating the events as we see them unfold on stage. Rounding out the ensemble is Robert Gyomber, Zoe Bullard, Rune Thorn, Elissa Myers, Kayleigh Blevins, Claire Tracey, Rya Sweatt, Jamie Glass, Jonathan Duttweiler, Chaz Stringfellow, Ziggy Bernard, and Abbey Barthauer.
