National Youth Theater Presents: Elf the Musical!

Celebrate This Holiday Season With Elf, The Musical!

Join National Youth Theater this holiday season for a little bit of Christmas cheer. This December, sit back and enjoy the antics of Buddy the Elf in Elf, The Musical. Based on the much beloved movie of the same name, this musical adaptation will put you in the holiday spirit!

Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf. After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

Elf features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar (The Prom, The Wedding Singer) and Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Prom, The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). The production will feature direction by David Horn, director; Kristi Vaughn, assistant director; Katrin Young, vocal director, and choreography by Mirra Cabote.

Elf is one of those rare holiday shows that will have both kids and adults lighting up with laughter, humming tunes like “A Christmas Song” and “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” for days and rediscovering what it means to be a family. This heartfelt and hilarious musical is filled with memorable music and lots of laughs for the whole family to enjoy.

Starring a cast of young actors ages 8-19, Elf, The Musical is a stuffed stocking full of song and dance that your family will most definitely want on your Christmas Wish List!
