North Shore Republican Women Monthly Luncheon Meeting

When: Wednesday, March 1, 2023

The General Membership Meeting of North Shore Republican Women will feature a Program by Jim Fredricks and he will speak on behalf of Texas Destination Resort Alliance regarding a proposed statewide Texas constitutional amendment to allow a limited number of destination resort casinos. TDRA is requesting the Legislature allow Texans to vote on the measure by ballot. Lunch is optional, but you must have a reservation for a seat by midnight, February 21 (online) even if you aren’t dining. Greater Conroe Arts Festival

The Greater Conroe Arts Alliance, made up of 21 Arts organizations in Montgomery County Texas which represent the Performance and Visual Arts, is hosting its Annual Greater Conroe Arts Festival located in Historic Downtown Conroe. This outstanding family event features Local and Texas Artists representing all genres of The Arts. 

Montgomery County Welcoming Neighbors Club March Luncheon

When March 16, 2023
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: Herrera’s Mexican Restaurant

Montgomery County Welcoming Neighbor Club (social club 501c7) monthly luncheon will be held at the Herrera’s Mexican Restaurant in The Woodlands on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Social hour begins at 10:30 followed by a short business meeting, lunch and Bingo. Guests are welcome. Reservations are required Call Rebecca at 936-671-9629 for information and reservations.

Montgomery County Fair

When March 24 – April 2, 2023
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (expected)
Where; Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 9333 Airport Rd., Conroe, TX

Tickets: $10 online or $15 at the gate for ages 12 and older; Kids ages 5-11 are $5; Kids under 5 years are FREE General Public Parking: $5.00 (onsite cash only), Tickets valid for one-time use during either weekend of the fair. The ticket price includes admission to the rodeo and the concerts 3/24 & 3/25.

The Tomball German Heritage Festival celebrates the culture and history of Germans in Texas. This event showcases products like 175 unique and interesting street vendors will line Market and S. Walnut Streets, selling German Christmas items, arts and crafts, include traditional German food and drink, (mulled wine), beer, Christmas Stollen & Homemade Breads, Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and pastry), Bratwurst, red cabbage, sauerkraut, apple strudel, etc., and will, also, include festival foods like funnel cake, corn dogs, hot dogs, hamburgers, kettle korn, and barbeque, etc. in the Consumer & Carnivals industry. Father/Son Challenge

Fee: $50 Resident pair; $60 Non-Resident pair; $15 per additional sibling. Recommended for ages 5 years and older. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Soggy Doggy Swim Day

Pioneer & Settler Day

Join us for a frontier-themed day at the park. We will feature different programs starting at 9:00 a.m. that cover how people lived and worked in the pioneer era. Programs will focus on the lives of the pioneers who explored and settled here in Texas.  All events will be held at the day use area next to the park store. Livingston Trade Days

Trade Days is set on over 200 acres in Livingston’s scenic Pedigo Park. With hundreds of vendors and an eclectic selection of wares, there’s something for everyone. Shoppers browse through two covered pavilions and open-air lots that are host to a wide variety of food, arts and crafts, collectibles and antique vendors. This great environment welcomes families, day-trippers and outdoor enthusiasts who come to enjoy a few hours at the park.  Their goal is to bring a treasure or two home. Vendors with an eclectic selection of wares, there’s something for everyone. 

Herb Festival of the Wynne Home

A huge variety of herbs, pass-a-long plants, native plants, perennials, annuals, succulents, and vegetables for sale. Garden vendors, speakers, music, and children’s activities on the beautiful grounds of the Wynne Home Arts Center in Huntsville, TX. This is a once a year event and it is free to the public.
