Dear Friends and Valued Patients,
As Christmas draws near, I find myself reflecting on the rhythms of life. There are seasons of joy and celebration, and there are quieter, more challenging times that test our faith and patience.
This year has reminded me that life moves like a wave. There are peaks where everything feels light and full of possibility, and there are valleys where the path grows steep and uncertain. Yet I’ve come to see these valleys not as detours or punishments, but as sacred spaces where strength is built, lessons are learned, and deeper trust is forged.
If you’re walking through a valley this Christmas, whether it’s health challenges, loss, uncertainty, or weariness, please hear this: You are not alone. God is with you in the valley just as surely as on the mountaintop. The same Spirit that hovered over the waters at creation (Genesis 1:2) hovers over your life now, bringing order, healing, and new beginnings even when they’re hard to see.
Scripture promises that we do not grieve or struggle without hope, and that trials produce perseverance, character, and a hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:3-5). The wave always rises again. This wave of life is akin to the breath we take, where the breath you release is naturally and inevitably followed by the next inhale.
This Christmas, may you find moments to release whatever feels heavy, to breathe deeply, and to trust that the One who designed the rhythm of your life is faithful to carry you through every phase.
And speaking of new beginnings, I have joyful news to share.
After several years focused on growing Sandstone into the thriving company it is today, I’ve heard a clear call to return to what God first placed on my heart: serving you directly as your chiropractor. I want to spend time nurturing the meaningful relationships we’ve built over decades, adjusting, listening, encouraging, and walking alongside you toward greater health and wholeness.
In the coming weeks, we’ll announce my return schedule at our original Montgomery location. I can’t wait to see many familiar faces and welcome new ones as we step into this next chapter together.
