Christmas in Historic Montgomery

Montgomery County’s oldest Christmas celebration—marking its 45th year—offers a full day of events in downtown Montgomery, one of Texas’ oldest towns and the birthplace of the Texas flag. The event includes strolling carolers, a marketplace with homemade gifts and décor items, old-fashioned decorations in the historic buildings on the evening 45th Historic Home Tour, and the 33rd famous Cookie Walk, where tables are laden with decorative cookies and candies to purchase by the pound. 

Conroe Gun & Knife Show

The Conroe Gun & Knife Show will be held on Dec 10th-11th, 2022. This Conroe gun show is held at Lone Star Convention Center and hosted by High Caliber Gun & Knife Show. All federal and local firearm laws and ordinances must be obeyed.

Winter Zookeeper Camp

Winter Zookeeper Camp at The Learning Zoo for ages 9 - 11 years old. Deck the Depot

Tomball German Festival and Christmas Market is here! Make plans to visit, volunteer, dance and shop again this year! We have assembled a great line-up of vendors, contests & entertainment for the whole family to enjoy! Come and enjoy the family-friendly ambience – Gemütlichkeit – of this unique music/street festival with three stages of live music and an open-air market along with antique shops in the old town area. On Friday, December 9th from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, shop street vendors and enjoy various performances. Saturday, December 10th from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM begins with the parade at 11 AM, followed by our famous “tapping of the keg” and Willkommen ceremony for German exchange students and their Tomball host families, and official opening ceremonies for the festival. Join us again on Sunday, December 11th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM for more festivities! An estimated 163 unique and interesting street vendors will line Market and S. Walnut Streets, selling German Heritage items, arts and crafts, and much more. The Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights 2022

“The Magic of Christmas” Parade of Lights is a wonderful community event. The first Saturday of December, the Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce hosts a parade down the local streets of Magnolia to inspire the spirit of Christmas. Save the date for this exciting family friendly event! The Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights is the highest attended event in our community and is sure to bring holiday cheer to all! 

Sweet Magnolia Pickins Farmers & Artisans Market

When: December 4 &11, 2022 Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Where: 18940 Julie Lane, Magnolia, TX 

At Sweet Magnolia Farmers & Artisans Market, you can find a variety of farmers, artisans, beekeepers, canners, chefs, crafters, leatherworkers, woodworkers, quilters, seamstresses and costuming experts, jewelry makers, glass artists, candle makers, painters, candy makers, crocheters, bakers, and more. Participants are required to either grow or make the products they sell. Many also offer custom work. The mobile vet is at the market the 1st Sunday of every month and leashed pets are welcome anytime. The market is open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and is held in the white fenced field at the intersection of FM’s 1488 & 1774, right next to Walgreens in Magnolia, TX.

Christmas Extravaganza

We will bring Santa to the market for our annual Christmas. We welcome everyone to our outdoor markets! It’s in the white fenced field next to Walgreens. Pictures with Santa and the Grinch will be available along with music, locally grown or handmade items, and great food. The Woodlands Farmer's Market at Grogan's Mill was established in 2008 as “The Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market,” a weekly community event sponsored by the Grogan's Mill Village Association.The Market is open Saturdays at the Grogan's Mill Center.The market typically closes only one Saturday during the year, the Saturday between Christmas and New Year's Day. If you drive to the market you will find the village center has plenty of parking. Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt
