Freedom Fest 2020 – Montgomery
The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host its annual Freedom Fest 2020. The event takes place in Historic Downtown Montgomery, located at 14420 Liberty Street, in Montgomery, Texas.
The “Anything But Trailers” Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. and the theme for 2020 is “A Family Tradition.” Other attractions include a Kid’s Zone and Vendor Market, both opening at 9:00 a.m. and a Community Chalk Mural.

New Waverly Volunteer Fire Department 4th of July Fireworks Show
The annual New Waverly Volunteer Fire Department 4th of July Fireworks Show is a much-loved tradition for many New Waverly residents. Certainly, the friendly folks of New Waverly have the epitome of hometown 4th of July celebrations.
At dusk, the popular New Waverly Community Fireworks Show commences, next to Prosperity Bank, at 102 West FM 1375, and is viewable from all over town.
Established in 1952, the New Waverly Volunteer Fire Department operates with approximately 40 members, most of whom are volunteers.

In short, the Founding Fathers may not have imagined pool parties and hot dog eating contests as ways to celebrate our freedoms, but if that’s what makes you happy…
