Worried about where your kids will be this summer? Need a perfect vacation getaway?
With this in mind, many people are turning to their own homes as the solution for a much-needed ‘getaway,’ and upgrading their homesteads to become their ultimate ‘staycation’. In short: You’ll never hesitate to throw a party or cool off from the hot summer sun with a custom pool from Dominion Pool Group.
Dominion Pool Group can make your summer dreams come true right in your own backyard. But how do they so consistently out-perform competitors?
It starts with quality.
When you work with Dominion Pool Group, you won’t receive substandard materials or services. Instead, you can expect “simplistic to sensational,” as Dan Pendley, co-founder of DPG, is notoriously quoted. You won’t be limited to a few select choices of materials, designs, sizes, or features. Simply put, DPG can not only realize your dream pool but make sure it’s better than you ever imagined or even knew was possible.
Unlike tract pool companies and less-established custom builders, “You’ll have access to over 400 tiles and material samples to choose from,” says Dan. “At our 4,000 square foot design center we have a plethora of flagstone and travertine samples, decking materials, and plaster samples to choose from to truly customize your pool. Unlike others who work around the area, we aren’t working out of our pickup. We are a one-stop shop that can service most of your swimming pool needs.”
“Out with the old, in with the POOL!”
Pool Design is a Family Affair
Dominion Pool Group is a family atmosphere! When you enter the building, you’ll be greeted by either Debbie or Shelley, or, without a doubt, Camille.
Camille, graduating from Lone Star College with a degree in accounting, heads up as office manager as well as keeping financials in order. Although Camille is DPG’s newest addition, she has over 20 years of experience in customer service in the food and event industry. Clients are always welcomed with a big smile. She is a part of the DPG family and is directly related to their success.
DPG is also very proud to have Matthew as their construction/project manager. Matthew brings over 35 years of experience in every aspect of pool construction. Many of DPG’s jobs are very difficult and need expertise like Matthew has to manage them. He has the ability to communicate with subcontractors and help homeowners mitigate stress by updating them on upcoming schedules and changes.
Lana (daughter of Dan and Debbie) is often everyone’s “go-to” person. She handles most of the advertising and event planning, along with promotional materials for all of their donations and sponsorships. Lana is hard working and has an excellent work ethic. You will see Lana in the office, on job sites, and assisting Matthew with equipment. As she learns the pool industry, she will definitely be integral to the Next Generation DPG family business.
Also, a daughter of Dan and Debbie, DPG is proud to have Shelley with her 20 years’ experience in pool design, sales, service and maintenance management, as well as project management. She’s knowledgeable in interior design and home construction. Shelley designs/sells pools and works with clients to perfectly match their materials with their entire project. She also handles all permitting and POA approvals.
Lastly, when partnering with DPG you’ll likely work with their stellar Sales Representative, Steve. With over 40 years of experience in design and sales, Steve has been around pool construction and understands the business. He excels in the customers’ vision and delivers!
“We want to be hands-on with every project and work with our customers to design something truly unique,” exclaims the team at Dominion Pool Group. “We love working with clients to see their dreams come true.” DPG prides themselves on “Designs of Distinction” that can’t be conceptualized or even replicated elsewhere, and work daily with their project manager so that the design stays accurate all throughout the process.
Best of the Best
As Dan notes, “We’ve won multiple awards from Aqua Magazine and been named in the top 100 pool companies in the nation. While Pool & Spa News, the pool industry’s national trade magazine, named the Pendleys as having one of the top 50 companies in the U.S. This coveted Industry’s Choice Award is earned by those companies exhibiting the highest caliber of professionalism, design skills, expertise in construction, sales and marketing techniques, business practices, customer satisfaction, and community service.”
Not only that, Debbie Pendley (Dan’s wife and co-owner/Master Designer of DPG) also adds that they are proud to have coveted a local award:
“Best of Montgomery County Swimming Pools” 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
Now in the Hall of Fame.
Add to that an A+ rating with the BBB, and you can begin to see why this is one of the most trusted pool companies.
If you think “custom pool builders aren’t worth the money”, think again. Sure, tract pools, or “cookie-cutters” as they are called in the pool industry, are cheaper than custom pools, just like tract homes are cheaper than custom homes. But in either case, this is not because the custom builder makes more profit. Instead, they are usually more experienced, use better quality products/materials, employ highly skilled contractors, and provide better warranties, communication, and customer service. Most importantly, they design and build a one-of-a-kind product for each client.
Dominion Pool Group is in the business of creating an entirely unique OASIS in your own backyard!
When it comes to custom pool builders, Dominion Pool Group has remained consistently dominant in the pool industry for over 35 years as a family-owned and operated business since its inception in 1984.
“The Trio” (Shelley, Debbie, and Dan) have excelled in Genesis 3 classes in hydraulics, presentation, land management, color theory, architecture, pool construction, and material application. Genesis 3 originated in 2000 to professionalize the pool industry.
DPG has consistently delivered reliably unique and spectacular high-end luxury pool designs and has won well over 200 design awards not only locally, but nationally and internationally as well.
When you decide to invest in a custom pool, contact is made to set up a meeting to come to your home and discuss the features, likes, dislikes, and budget for the pool you are considering. They will evaluate your backyard, topography, the architecture of your home, focal and access points, family needs/usage, tree locations, locate utilities, check for easements, and a number of other things. It will be necessary to have a site or plot plan of your house and property available for their consultant.
Following the initial consultation, your designer will return to the office and design a custom pool to incorporate all the features and benefits which were discussed. They will then contact you to schedule an appointment to come to their office/showroom for a no-pressure, professional presentation of your custom Dominion Pool concept. While in the showroom you will be able to see the many samples of the materials being suggested such as tile, coping, deck, and plaster.
When going through the design process you will be able to see exactly what your pool will look like as each project can be designed with interactive 3-D computer software which allows the designer to create vivid presentations that will give you a clear understanding of the project in extraordinary detail. Dominion Pool Group can simulate how your pool will look at different parts of the day, and from different angles. Essentially, if you want to know what your pool will look like from your second-story balcony at 8:00 pm, Dominion Pool Group can do that too.
