Dr. Stark’s Farewell:
In March 1988 Ronald Reagan was president of the United States. To a lot of us that seems a lifetime ago. That’s the month and year that I had the privilege of starting my medical practice in my specialty of ENT in Montgomery County, Texas. After 36 years of practicing medicine, I have hung up my white coat and have retired.
Obviously, so many things have changed over the past three decades to all of us. But there are certain concepts that endure. I hope that during that time I provided constant care to the patients I encountered.
I have been blessed in both my professional career and personal life many times over. I still believe the practice of medicine is noble, as it involves direct personal care. As I retire, I know the medical community around here is still in excellent hands and for that I am grateful. For those of you that I was able to help over the years, I am eternally appreciative for your trust and support.

We are excited to be expanding our comprehensive ear, nose, and throat practice to Montgomery, TX.
Central Texas Sinus & Allergy is a highly specialized medical and surgical center based in College Station that provides excellent, quality care to both children and adults. We have satellite clinics in Bastrop, Columbus, Mexia and Fairfield and we are thrilled to be able to extend our great scope of ENT services to the Montgomery area.
At Central Texas Sinus & Allergy, you will receive the absolute best in health care through the experience and knowledge of our physicians, audiologists, and physician assistants. Our trained staff will make every effort to ensure that your visit is a pleasant one.
Our physicians, Dr. Thomas Salzer and Dr. Steven Wright are board certified in otolaryngology, as well as head and neck surgery. Our physicians have combined over 30 years of ENT expertise. We provide the full range of ENT- specific services and specialize in seven primary areas of care: ear, audiology, sinus & allergy, voice and swallowing, head and neck, and sleep disorders. Our aim is to provide the best specialty care possible locally, while still having the capacity to refer to subspecialty care when appropriate.
Our audiologist, Dr. Janet Wilson, has recently joined our practice and will be working in our new Montgomery clinic. She is well known in this area for providing the highest level of hearing health with a patient centered approach. Dr. Wilson has 15 years of audiology experience, with 8 years working with a large ENT clinic. She believes that treating hearing loss goes far beyond fitting a hearing aid and she understands that each patient needs an individualized plan.
Our physician assistant, Christi Dodd, is native to Montgomery County and will be working in our Montgomery location. She has over 20 years of experience as a PA, with 7 years specializing in otolaryngology. Christi is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care and enjoys working closely with every patient to treat a range of ear, nose, and throat conditions.
